Name of dish: Submitted by:
Sticky Chicken

Mike Bevington
You will need:

3 tablespoons sunflower oil

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons soya sauce

1 tablespoon mustard

pinch of cayenne pepper

8 skinless chicken thighs

1. Turn the oven onto 200c (about 400f or gas mark 6).
2. mix the ingredients together, except the chicken, and stir them.
3. Chop the chicken into slices and rub into the sauce.  Cover all the chicken and leave in the bowl.  Cover with clingfilm and leave for an hour.  Leave to marinade.
4. lay the chicken in a single layer on a baking tray or dish.  Using oven gloves put them on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 15 minutes.
5. Take out of the oven, using oven gloves, and put somewhere safe.
6. Turn over the chicken pieces with tongs and place back in the oven for another 15 minutes.
7. Take out of the oven and check they are cooked by piercing the bigger pieces of chicken with a skewer.  If the juice that runs out is clear, they are cooked.
